KyuubiTaishou is one of the Blades of Absolute Creation. It is the Sword of Balence and is held by Unagi Hyuga.

It has first been shown to become a oversized katana which had the power of fire. Its chakra is Red because it draws on the Kyuubi no Yoko's power because that is the soul within the blade. It has later shown to be like a regular Zanpaktou with the ability of Shukai. It is also shown to become stronger with every fight. When Seireitou learned about KyuubiTaishou's real powers, he discovered that it was known to have the power to fall a hundred worlds in a single blow. Its signiture attack is KatonGetsuga.

Special AbilitiesEdit

  • Kenatsu: Kenatsu is the special ablitiy that allows the KyuubiTaishou to cut opponents without touching them.
  • Barrier Shattering: This ability completely shatters barriers. When used, KyuubiTaishou glows dark purple.

It was first found by Unagi in the Temple of Life's Beginning. When Seireitou found it, it was after his fight with Itachi Uchiha at the Valley of the End in the Madara Statue's right eye.

The Zanpaktou becomes a large katana blade, with fur in its guard. The blade becomes crimson red and glows when KatonGetsuga is used. It is almost the exact some as Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga.

KyuubiTaishou becomes KyuubiTaishou OkibiTenshu (天鎖斬月, 9 Tailed God of Blazing Flames): is considered completely out of the ordinary for any Zanpakutō. Unlike most Bankai forms, which usually create some sort of massive creature or effect, Seireitou's Bankai actually shrinks his sword down to a daitō (Japanese long sword) with a dark scarlet blade, handguard in the shape of the manji (which is the kanji for "ban," meaning "full") that becomes black in color. The cloth wrapped around the hilt is replaced by a short chain with a broken link, similar to that of a Plus and is also black, like the hilt. In addition to his sword, Seireitou's robe is replaced with a long-sleeved, ankle-length scarlet coat with black lining that is closed at his chest. As explained by Byakko Kurohitsugi, Seireitou's Bankai is a compression of his remarkable power, rather than a vast expansion as other Bankai are. This hugely compressed power enables Seireitou to move at high speeds exceeding those of flash steps, and gives him matching agility and reflexes, along with allowing him to use his natural strength to its limits as shown from how effortlessly he blocked a blade swing from Minkai, Soul Edge's weilder known primarily for his immense strength. Furthermore, the fact that all of his energy is "compressed" means that usage of his Bankai doesn't expel as much spiritual power as other Bankai from the point of activation; thus allowing him to use KyuubiTaishou OkibiTenshu at a much longer duration than other Bankai users of his level, however, he is able to control how much energy is unleashed from the blade, and when in bankai, he may make it look like the blade is dripping of immense red chakra. With enough usage and acquired height, Seireitou can even appear as though he is flying. Seireitou's initial inexperience with controlling his Bankai led to a serious drawback; the force of his compressed spiritual power caused all of his bones to crack as stated by his inner Hollow, gradually decreasing his speed and power over time. However, after training with Ashiki, he has overcome this disadvantage.

KyuubiTaishou OkibiTenshu becomes KyuubiTaishou SoukenKami (千本桜景厳, 9 Tailed Creation God) when the blade is materialized. In this form, Seireitou's hair grows slightly longer, he grows 9 red/orange kyuubi tails and the upper body is covered in Kyuubi red/orange fur. The eyes become fiercer then Bankai and feral, matching Kyuubi's eyes exactly in appearance. The aura in this form grow wild arcs of red static discharge, and the aura becomes pure red fire with gleaming sparkles. The great power and speed enhancements brought on by this form easily make it the very most powerful form ever acheived in the series. Seireitou can use levels 1,2,3 and 4 of Shukai, as well as the Kaosu Form once and much later, he masters the Dendetsu no Shukai form and Kyuukyoku Shukai state. He much later learns to use a natural version of it: Natural Shukai. Byakko also teaches him a powerful new version called Bankoku Shukai.

KyuubiTaishou SoukenKami becomes KyuubiTaishou Minakanushi (千本桜景厳天之御中主, 9 Tailed Beginning of Existance). Seireitou's body and hair become like in Kyuukyoku Shukai but the hair retains its pearl color with a golden/scarlet shade to it. The 9 tails become like kyuubi's with black tips. Seireitou also obtains a golden/scarlet/black (more golden with black/scarlet shade) armor on him, almost exact in shape like Rokudou Sennin's armor. The armor is a compression of the extreme chakra given off in this stage. THe power is so great that only Seireitou, Hikaru and Byakko are capable of using this form of release.

Its powers have not yet been revealed.

Spirit QuotesEdit

  • "Seireitou... I hate the rain. Rain falls in this world, too. When your heart is in chaos, this sky become clouded. When you are sad, rain falls so terribly easy. Can you understand... the horror of being pelted by rain in this solitary world? If only to stop that rain, I shall lend you any strength. If you trust in me, I will let no rain fall in this world. Seireitou, trust me. You are not fighting alone."
